I think that Media influences people/kids and this is why.
In the movies I do think seeing actresses and actors smoking, drinking, drinking a Coca la Cola, ECT influences kids/people because they look up to them.
Product placement has a big influence on it to. Product Placement is so important in movies studios and TV stations because they make money from companies to put there Ads in there movies or TV shows and they don’t want to violate the Law. Like on “The Real World,” Pepsi supports them so the company who edits the real world fuzzes out Coca la Cola, Dr.Pepper and other drinks from being aired on TV. Product placement should be blamed because they are most of the reasons why teenagers and lots of people do smoke and drink.
I believe that it isn’t that important to show a product unless people like it. I think it is so stupid how people follow people on TV. That is what I learned on Media influences this year.

i think you are right on this one but how will the businesses get their voices out without advertising? and people need people to look up to, if there wasn't our world would probably not have advanced that much or at all. good blog though.

Your blog is awesome. and I totally agree about the whole thing of how people/kids are influenced by the stuff they see in the media.
You are right that the movies all have product placement. However Sean is right, businesses have to make money somehow.
